Located in Al Qasimia, Sharjah, Guide Point Academy is a student-focused educational institution committed to delivering high-quality academic coaching for CBSE, IGCSE, A LEVEL & AS LEVEL and NIOS students.

Founded by two passionate and highly experienced educators, Sooraj and Varsha, Guide Point Academy was established with a clear vision: to make quality education more accessible, personalised, and results-driven.

With decades of combined teaching and academic leadership experience, our founders have mentored thousands of students, helping them strengthen their conceptual understanding, overcome academic challenges, and prepare confidently for school examinations, board examinations, and competitive entrance tests.

Sooraj

Co-Founder | Mathematics Mentor

With 18 years of teaching experience, Sooraj is an accomplished Mathematics educator and academic mentor with extensive experience in teaching, academic management, and competitive examination preparation.

His professional journey includes

  • Former Assistant Manager – Academics at T.I.M.E.
  • Former Manager – Academics at T.I.M.E.
  • Former Manager at Pearson Learning Centre
  • Former Manager at PMKVY and DDU-GKY
  • Seven years of teaching experience at Knowledge Planet, UAE

Throughout his career, he has mentored students preparing for Olympiads, JEE, KEAM, CAT, MAT, SAT, and other competitive entrance examinations.

Having guided 3,000+ students in the UAE since 2016, Sooraj brings deep subject expertise, practical problem-solving strategies, and a strong commitment to individual student development.

His teaching philosophy focuses on simplifying complex mathematical concepts, strengthening fundamentals, and helping students develop logical reasoning and confidence in Mathematics.

Varsha

Co-Founder | Physics Mentor

With 12 years of teaching experience, Varsha is a dedicated Physics educator known for her strong conceptual teaching approach and her ability to make challenging scientific principles clear and engaging.

Her professional background includes

  • Former Head of Physics at T.I.M.E.
  • Former Head of Physics at Pearson Learning Centre
  • Co-Founder of Aura Academia, Sharjah

She has extensive experience mentoring students for NEET, JEE, KEAM, Olympiads, SAT, and other competitive examinations.

Having trained 2,000+ students, Varsha brings a wealth of academic expertise, dedication, and a student-centred approach to Physics education.

Her teaching methodology emphasises conceptual clarity, analytical thinking, practical applications, and systematic examination preparation, encouraging students to understand Physics rather than simply memorise formulas.
